By Michael Lodge: The role of government is to serve as a pillar of support for its citizens, ensuring their well-being, security, and prosperity. However, in recent times, it has become evident that the government has failed in fulfilling its obligations to the American people. From sound leadership to maintaining order, providing public services, ensuring national security, and addressing economic concerns, the government's shortcomings have had a significant impact on the core needs of its citizens. The American government has overspent on wars, on political social agendas, and power. They have not proven that they are responsible with the American taxpayer dollar.
1. Lack of Sound Leadership: Effective leadership is essential for any government to function efficiently. Unfortunately, the American government has struggled to provide the strong and visionary leadership required to tackle pressing issues. Political polarization, partisan gridlock, and the prioritization of personal agendas over the needs of the people have hindered progress and stymied positive change. Government leaders have overstepped their role in using the federal law enforcement agencies to go after their enemies. People no longer trust their government to protect them. Leadership does not lead anymore, instead they attack the very citizens they are supposed to protect. Politics has become the law, and the constitution has been pushed to the side. The rights of the American people are in danger. 2. Maintaining Order and Public Services: The government's inability to maintain order and provide essential public services, such as well-maintained roads, highways, and reliable train and airline travel systems, has resulted in deteriorating infrastructure and inconvenience for the American people. Crumbling roads, delayed train schedules, train accidents and outdated airports have become all too common, impacting both safety and quality of life. 3. National Security and Border Control: Ensuring national security and controlling the borders are fundamental and legal responsibilities of any government. However, the United States has faced significant challenges in this regard. Inadequate border control measures have allowed illegal immigration to persist and get out of control that creates chaos at the border, while national security concerns, including cyber threats and terrorism, have not been appropriately addressed. These failures jeopardize the safety and well-being of American citizens. American have made it very clear to the leaders in Washington that the borders need to be closed, the government has ignored the voices of Americans. Government is guilty of adopting woke social politics to rule with, and our nation is damaged, the military is not focused on fighting, but rather on social politics. Wokeness. This needs to end, it has made our military weaker. Foreign nations see this weakness and take advantage of it. 4. Economic Security and Assistance: The government's failure to provide economic security and assistance has left many Americans vulnerable. Income reduction from inflation, stagnant wages, and a lack of affordable healthcare and affordable housing have become pervasive issues. The social safety net, intended to support those in need, has often proven inadequate, leaving many citizens struggling to make ends meet. The COVID-19 pandemic exposed these weaknesses even further, revealing the government's inability to respond effectively to economic crises. Instead of focusing on how to address covid, politics became involved, and government became out of control in shutting down schools, churches, and businesses, resulting in a financial crisis of government overspending and thus creating inflation chaos. Government denies their decisions created inflation and economic hardship for Americans. This denial made it even worse, and the government spent more on programs that did not address the core needs of the American people. 5. Addressing Basic Needs: Access to food supplies, shelter, and politically free education are essential for any society to thrive. However, the government has fallen short in ensuring these basic needs are met for all Americans. Food insecurity, homelessness, and an education system plagued by anti-American teaching and inadequate teaching creating low educational scores have left many citizens marginalized and deprived of opportunities. Gone are the days of reading, writing, and math and we see a big difference in our kid’s learning ability. The core needs of education has been replaced by a social political – woke agendas. This needs to end. 6. Protecting Constitutional Freedoms: The government's failure to protect the constitution and preserve the freedoms it guarantees is deeply concerning. Threats to civil liberties, privacy infringements, and the erosion of free speech rights have raised questions about the government's commitment to upholding the principles upon which the nation was founded. These failures undermine the trust between the government and the people, eroding the democratic fabric of society. America has reverted to where Americans fought for their rights in the beginning of this nation. This nation was started because people felt there was a clear danger, taxation without representation. America is back at the stage of national concerns that we pay large amounts of taxes but have to representation, no voice in Government to protect our rights. Government officials take the oath of office to defend and protect the constitution but turn quickly and focus on their power and money. Conclusion: The government's failure to provide the core needs of the American people is evident across various domains, ranging from sound leadership to economic security, public services, national security, and protecting constitutional freedoms. Addressing these shortcomings requires honest and transparent assessment, a commitment to effective governance, and a renewed focus on the well-being and prosperity of all citizens. Only through comprehensive reforms and a genuine dedication to serving the people can the government regain the trust and fulfill its duty to the American people. The only way America can improve and change, is by changing the leadership and those that represent us. Americans have to get involved in their country in order to make change. It starts from the local community to the federal government. It's our responsibility to create change. And it starts NOW! Comments are closed.
